FAQ
Tourist Visa. Visitors can stay up to 90 days without a visa.
Water. In Quito and other main cities the water is potable, even though we recommend to drink bottled water, especially in the coastal cities. The most common bottled trademarks are Tesalia, Pure Water, Manantial, Dassani and Vivant.
Communications. In Ecuador there are all kinds of communications.
Vaccines. We suggest talking to your doctor before the trip.
Insurance. Sensations Tour does not include high risk activities, but for your convenience all the passengers have a traveler insurance. See insurance details en Security.
What to Wear. In Quito and the highlands the weather is very unpredictable, during the dry season it is sunny but windy; during the rest of the year you would need warmer clothing like those you wear during the fall. Our suggestion is a raincoat, a jacket and comfortable walking shoes.
Allergies. We would appreciate you informing us about any kind of allergies that you may have.
Climate. The average temperature in Quito is between 12 and 18ºC (54 y 64ºF), but in the Coast it could be above 35ºC (96ºF) and in the glaciers it could be below 0ºC (32ºF). So we recommend a combination of clothes for a variety of weathers.
